PHENOL FORMALDEHYDE RESINS

Phenol formaldehyde resins are synthetic polymers obtained by the reaction of phenol or substituted phenol with formaldehyde, forming novolacs or resoles. They are used as binders where high heat resistance, dimensional stability, surface hardness, insulating properties and chemical resistance is desired. There is no other polymer that can be produced with a very broad range of properties.

Phenol formaldehyde resins are offered in various types and forms.

Types:

  • Non-modified

  • Modified with Cardinol, CNSL, Epoxy, NBR and Silicone.

Forms:

Liquid, Powder, Granular and Lumps
